Reports

This section details the variety of reports PMED can create on all facets of a project’s design.

Output Report

After a design/analysis run has been successfully completed, the application will generate an option to download a report. All analyses will provide and option of either a Microsoft Document (.docx) file or a ZIP file. The DOCX will simply contain the report, but the ZIP (.zip) file will include all outputs of the analysis including the design (.dgpx) file itself. Therefore, the ZIP file is the more comprehensive but will take longer too download than the docx.

Completed Designs

To locate the report, simply navigate to the folder where you chose to save the download prompt. Understand that clicking on different options will overwrite previous download requests and depending on connection and report size may take considerable time.

Multiple Project Summary (Batch Report)

Batch reports are largely the same as

A Completed Batch Analysis with Relevant Documents

The application will open a batch report file (DOCX) that will display the first page of each individual report, including the file pathway to the location of the project.

Excel Output Report

Some analyses will allow an Excel sheet (.xlsx), but others might not.

Note:
Excel reports do not generate even for valid projects that have successfully generated a PDF report if another instance of Excel is already running in the background. The user is warned when this occurs by the PMED application. In such cases, closing the Excel instance and double-clicking on the Excel icon in the project tree view will generate an Excel report if the project run was successful.
